Locating M1 (motor cortex)
Dr. Rustin Berlow tells us how to locate M1 (the primary motor cortex) and where to position the coil.
How to locate the primary motor cortex for stimulation.
When measuring for M1 (primary motor cortex), you seek 50% of the distance from the nasion to the inion and you can place the coil centered over M1, or slightly off to the side for bilateral stimulation.
